We are pleased to announce that the latest audit and security solution from Centennial Software, Discovery 2006 Feature Pack 1 has today been released to the market. As well as a number of new features in the core product, this release also introduces the latest optional add-on module - Security.Advisor.

The key differentiator for Security.Advisor is all down to Discovery's
ability to provide an accurate and complete view of the software and hardware
devices found on the network. Security.Advisor then compares published
threats against the latest audit information, ensuring that organizations
are combating the threats they know exist on the network as opposed to
vulnerabilities they think might be there. This makes Security.Advisor
a powerful tool in any security manager's arsenal.
Existing customers with a current support contract can upgrade to Discovery 2006 FP1 at no extra cost (upgrades are supported from 4.53, 2005, 2005 SP1 and 2006). Upgrade software is available from the Centennial support site.
